To ensure fair and responsible use of services, we require including an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) in your contract with end users.
Your contract with us will detail the requirements on what you need to flow down to your end users, such as AUPs and mandatory terms.
Why it's important
An AUP helps protect both your network and business by clearly setting expectations on how your services should be used. It prevents misuse that could impact service quality, create legal risk, or lead to service abuse.
Intended use of SIMs
The SIMs provided under this agreement are intended solely for the customer’s personal and individual use. They must not be used for:
- Commercial or business purposes
- Machine-to-machine (M2M) or IoT applications (unless explicitly permitted)
- Bulk messaging, auto-dialing, or SIM gateways
- Resale or redistribution of the service to third parties
What to include in your AUP
We recommend aligning with eSIM Go’s AUP and covering the following points:
- Unlawful or harmful use – no fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
- Automated systems – no use with bulk SMS platforms, dialers, or SIM boxes
- Commercial exploitation – services must not be resold or shared commercially
- Excessive usage – fair usage limits may apply
- Network abuse – no behavior that degrades network performance or affects other users
We also suggest including a clause allowing you to:
- Monitor for misuse
- Suspend or terminate service in case of policy breach
