What fees should I expect?
- eSIM assignment fee: This is a charge per eSIM and is charged when an eSIM is assigned to your organisation.
- eSIM monthly fee: all ICCIDs assigned to your organisation that have had, at some point, a consumption bundle applied, are charged the fee every month.
The eSIM assignment fee is charged at the point of purchase and deducted in real-time from your account balance. The monthly fees are charged at the end of every calendar month. The monthly statement reflects all of these charges.
Will I be charged eSIM monthly fees on eSIMs that aren't installed?
All ICCIDs assigned to your organisation that have had a consumption bundle applied at some point are charged the fee every month. To stop this fee being charged for eSIMs that are no longer in use the 'Delete eSIM' endpoint [DEL /esims/{iccid}]. This will unassign these from your account - the month in which this deletion occurs will still have the monthly fee charged.
What usage charges should I expect on Fixed bundles?
Using a 1GB bundle with a 7-day validity period as an example, you will be charged for the real time usage of this bundle over the validity period with usage capped at and therefore not exceeding 1GB.
What usage charges should I expect on Unlimited bundles?
Using a Premium Unlimited bundle with a 5 day validity period and speeds throttled after 30GB of usage, you will be charged for the real time data usage throughout the bundle validity period at the same rate for both full speed and throttled data.
Monitoring usage
It is your responsibility to monitor usage and manage the commercial risk on all bundles, however if you need advice, you can contact your Account Manager via the eSIM Go Management Portal at any time.
Consumption CDRs can be used to monitor usage - these come into the SFTP server which can be set up under "SFTP Access" in the eSIM Go Management Portal. You can also set up usage alerts by setting a callback url to receive the notifications detailed here.
